HOST AN EVENT

Hosting an event is a wonderful way to spread the word and educate those in your community or network about The Umbrella Center. Types of events hosted by donors and community partners include (but are not limited to):

• Hosting people in a home, community center, or clubhouse for a walk-through simulation of a survivor's journey to receive care and resources here in Charlotte-Mecklenburg.
• Hosting an intimate coffee chat to discuss the intricacies of abuse, the current state of services, and The Umbrella Center's vision for the future.

If you are interested in hosting an event, please contact Tori Marshall or Lori Avery to discuss ideas, opportunities, and available resources. Staff, committee members, and community partners may be available to speak and/or assist with facilitation upon request.
